Why I love London more than China

1. In China there is not a writer like Shakespeare. There is also no such work like “Sherlock Holmes” that attracts worldwide attention and becomes more and more heat. Chinese literary work is either elegant or vulgar or tricky. The method to combine these elements has not got enough attention as it deserves. I think that’s probably why the network literature is so hot.
2. China does not have as many churches as the UK. This is due to the materialism nature of the society in China. It is related to lack of faith, attention to politics, uniqueness of ideology, and not telling people to do the good thing.
3. China does not have many masterpieces of architecture. British architecture is art. British construction does not fail in centuries. China’s construction can generally be used for about 35 years.
4. The higher education in UK is far beyond China. Oxford, Cambridge, and University of London are much better than Beijing and Tsinghua University.
5. British people say “sorry” a lot. Once I did not stand firm on the subway and accidentally stepped on a lady. I cannot imagine what would happen if it took place in China. But she smiled at me and said sorry.
6. Chinese government is richer than British government while in general British are much richer than Chinese.

Experiences in London

Time flows in a hurry. Our four-month life in London is coming to the end. I hate to say this but it’s time to say goodbye. We are so reluctant to dapart and I’m very sad. I remreber that before I came to London, I was curious about everything. Meanwhile I was so looking forward to it. I got on the plane to London with my parents’ worry. When we arrived at first, everything was different, especially the food. Luckly, Yaolu, witty and me live in the same room. Everyday after class, we buy some vegetables and fruits. We cook by ourselves, and stay harmony with each other. At the same time, we make friends with our neighbours. We love how close our neighbourhood is and we value our relationship. For me personally, the study was a little hard for me at the beginning. Everything seemed to be strange, and there were strangers all around. The speed of the lecture was a little quick for me, because my listening and speaking were very poor. As time went on, I got to adjust to the life here.
Tutors here are very patient to their students and our classmates are very friendly. Andrew is the first tutor I met after I came here. He is kind and lovely. Every time I see him, I want to touch his face. Laura is another tutor who loves smiling and diverse colours. We love her very much. We love the way she gives a lecture. Her humor attracts me. Susanna is my supervisor. She is a decent lady with good manners. When I had questions to ask her, she was always helpful and patient. When I didn’t know how to express myself, she would help me to find the appropriate word to use. Sgieer is a person of great leaning. He knows not a little about Chinese history. Last week he gave us an Alcoran for each one. We value this gift very much. Nicky encourages us a lot and she helps us build confidence in learning English. Taura is the most active tutor I have ever met. Though she speaks a little faster than other tutors, we all enjoy it.
The climate in London is my favourite. It is neither too cold nor too hot. The interesting thing about the climate is that we can never predict what it will be like. It changes in a day. The moment before we go out of the door, the sky is clear. But just after a while, it starts to rain. London transportation is much more expensive than China, especially in terms of the underground. However, milk and eggs are much cheaper than that in China, especially those sold in Iceland. There are many famous parks here, such as Regent's Park, Hyde Park. But my favourite park is Finsbury Park which is near to our house. Every day after I finished my class, I went to the park to take a walk. I enjoy the sunshine, the relaxation and everything I see. London is a cosmopolitan city which attracts people all over the world. If I have a chance to spend more time in London, I believe I can be fluent in English. But the fact is that we should go. I appreciate everything I have done and everybody I have met forever. Maybe I will come back in one year to apply for a Master’s degree here. I’m looking forward to that day.

plan

Easter holiday has finished. We will continue our English courses. Our password results have published. Our Chinese classmates seperated. We are in the different classroom. New life is coming! How excited about it. In the next period, I will prepare for my IELTS exam. Last week, my tutor give me some tips about IELTS. I asked her to offer me some free materials. She is very patient and told me to search the weblearn, because in the wblearn, there have many practices we can promote English level, including speaking, writing, listening and reading. I think it's useful.

Happy time in westfield

We had a lovely time together in westfield today. That’s a wonderful shopping center and we were thrilled when we got there. It was like a paradise at first sight: colorful neon lights, dazzled decoration and well-dressed customers. When we came in, there were so many boutiques. After 2 hours’ window-shopping, we were so tired. We needed something to cheer up a bit. So we got some ice cream and coffee. After 15 minutes’ break, we went to the second floor. What impressed me at first was a skirt. So I took it to the fitting-room to have a try without hesitation. Completely mindful of the fact that it was really expensive, I made my decision to take it. It was so beautiful and appealing to me that I was convinced what I paid was worth it. I enjoyed my time there but time was not on our side. It was time for us to go home then. We were having fun there though exhausted. Happy days!

Experience of London

We have been here seven weeks. The second test is coming. Feedback the last seven weeks, happiness and sadness mixed with each other. At first, I can't adjust to the lonely life. I had something wrong with my sensitive skin as a result of temperture of humid here. Then, we met mice at our house. Almost everyday we live with scary. At that time, life seems becoming awful. But luckly, we came across a group of friendly friends. They helped us everytime. With the time went on, we loved London very much. I'm expected the subsequent activety.....
