Time flows in a hurry. Our four-month life in London is coming to the end. I hate to say this but it’s time to say goodbye. We are so reluctant to dapart and I’m very sad. I remreber that before I came to London, I was curious about everything. Meanwhile I was so looking forward to it. I got on the plane to London with my parents’ worry. When we arrived at first, everything was different, especially the food. Luckly, Yaolu, witty and me live in the same room. Everyday after class, we buy some vegetables and fruits. We cook by ourselves, and stay harmony with each other. At the same time, we make friends with our neighbours. We love how close our neighbourhood is and we value our relationship. For me personally, the study was a little hard for me at the beginning. Everything seemed to be strange, and there were strangers all around. The speed of the lecture was a little quick for me, because my listening and speaking were very poor. As time went on, I got to adjust to the life here.
Tutors here are very patient to their students and our classmates are very friendly. Andrew is the first tutor I met after I came here. He is kind and lovely. Every time I see him, I want to touch his face. Laura is another tutor who loves smiling and diverse colours. We love her very much. We love the way she gives a lecture. Her humor attracts me. Susanna is my supervisor. She is a decent lady with good manners. When I had questions to ask her, she was always helpful and patient. When I didn’t know how to express myself, she would help me to find the appropriate word to use. Sgieer is a person of great leaning. He knows not a little about Chinese history. Last week he gave us an Alcoran for each one. We value this gift very much. Nicky encourages us a lot and she helps us build confidence in learning English. Taura is the most active tutor I have ever met. Though she speaks a little faster than other tutors, we all enjoy it.
The climate in London is my favourite. It is neither too cold nor too hot. The interesting thing about the climate is that we can never predict what it will be like. It changes in a day. The moment before we go out of the door, the sky is clear. But just after a while, it starts to rain. London transportation is much more expensive than China, especially in terms of the underground. However, milk and eggs are much cheaper than that in China, especially those sold in Iceland. There are many famous parks here, such as Regent's Park, Hyde Park. But my favourite park is Finsbury Park which is near to our house. Every day after I finished my class, I went to the park to take a walk. I enjoy the sunshine, the relaxation and everything I see. London is a cosmopolitan city which attracts people all over the world. If I have a chance to spend more time in London, I believe I can be fluent in English. But the fact is that we should go. I appreciate everything I have done and everybody I have met forever. Maybe I will come back in one year to apply for a Master’s degree here. I’m looking forward to that day.
